Queries regarding credit card transactions should in the first instance be made directly to the hotel.
Should a satisfactory resolution not be reached, you are advised to lodge a query with the issuing bank or credit card company.
Refunds will be made at the discretion of the Management of Commodore Airport Hotel LTD.
Credit card refunds will be processed immediately once approved. Refunds will be made directly to the credit card that was charged during the original transaction. Alternative arrangements must be requested in writing.
Charges made for non-arrivals, or in the event of cancellation of pre paid accommodation or package may be refunded at the hotels discretion and only on application to the hotel in writing.
Refunds for non-arrivals or cancellations may incur an administration fee of not more than 20% of the transaction value.
All refunds will be made in New Zealand Dollars. Transactions processed in an alternative currency using the currency select option at the time of transaction will be refunded in the currency that the transaction was made. Refunds in New Zealand dollars to cards issued outside New Zealand may be affected by currency exchange fluctuations. Where these fluctuations result in the refund being less than the original transaction amount, an appeal should be lodged with the hotel.
From time to time the hotel at its sole discretion will accept cheques as payment for goods and services. Cheques must be personalised and issued in New Zealand Dollars unless prior arrangements have been made.
Dishonoured cheques may be forwarded to a collections agency and any fees incurred will be passed on to the issuer. Interest on the dishonoured amount will be charged at the rate of 3 percent per annum above the commercial overdraft facility rate charged by Commodore Airport Hotel’s bank.
Refunds will only be processed after confirmation from Commodore Airport Hotel’s bank that the cheque funds have been cleared. Refunds will be made by way of company cheque.
A 2% transaction fee will apply to all credit card transactions, including tap and go.
This fee will apply to all Credit Card transactions (including but not limited to Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Diners Card and Visa Debit Cards and all tap and go transactions. This only applies if credit is selected and not cheque or savings) Standard New Zealand issued EFTPOS Debit Cards are excluded from this policy.
